Drugs that Increase Risk of Bleeding when used with Warfarin/Coumadin®

Aspirin

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory

Anti-platelet agents: ticlopidine, clopidogrel

Anticoagulants: heparin, low molecular weight heparins

Bismuth subsalicylates ( more than 2 g/day)

Large doses(>2-3 glasses/day) of alcohol
